Lucozade Ice Kick
Lucozade Ice Kick was Jude Bellingham’s grand entrance into the world of isotonic beverages, and naturally the nation held its breath. I co-led the creative for the hero film, directed the stills, shot the BTS, and kept Jude’s energy high (no hard task considering our shoot was the morning following an El Clásico he’d rather forget). The campaign performed so well on social that the client promptly upgraded it to TV.
A big highlight was coaxing Jude from post-defeat sads to camera-ready charm so successfully that his management asked if I could be involved in future projects. A small victory for his morale and - apparently - really shitty dad jokes.
I learnt that social still loves stills so capture more than you think you’ll need — the images I directed ended up outperforming everything else.
